awrc Basically a 7” A-sides comp covering the Rough Trade and Virgin eras. Beautifully remastered. It’s a shame the Virgin B-sides are stuck in limbo because they couldn’t fit them on the CDs of the #8385 box and the digital downloads of that set omit the secret code that made them available as downloads to people who bought the physical box.

DAS VILLAIN I'm still shaken that the fact that the legend Richard H. Kirk left this mortal coil (yet, we're stuck with hacks like Chump Ass Rock, I mean Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, etc.). A true visionary, Cabaret Voltaire bridged that gulf between post-punk, goth, noise, experimental music, techno, synthpop, darkwave, and industrial music where all can coexist and circle around each others' orbits. This comp proves what I said in spades. Favorite track: Just Fascination (7" Version).
